When in situations of stress we wonder if there is anymore to give. We can be comforted to know that God, who knows our capacity perfectly, placed us here to succeed. No one was foreordained to fail. Let us remember that we were measured before and were found equal to our tasks. When we feel overwhelmed, let us recall the assurance that God will not over-program us; he will not press upon us more than we can bear.

4 MONTHS?!?!

Lily was hanging out in Todd's work chair she now owns the joint! hehe
She is getting SO close to rolling over we're trying to encourage her. She likes to sit up a lot better though.
She actually smiled for the camera! While she is playing with toys, she has finally she can play with those!
She was talking to me, and Todd got a quick one!

Today she is four months and I can't believe it! She's so much fun and we love her a lot. We don't like to share sometimes, but its ok. Hopefully we can start cereal soon and keep advancing what an awesome baby she is!

P.S. President Thomas S. Monson is going to be speaking at our graduation from SUU and we're stoked! You are all invited it's Saturday May 2nd!

The Poll

Ok so I posted that poll up about the elliptical and many of you have said it's a bad idea to buy one. I would like to know your opinion about that. Let me know why you think it's a bad idea. The reason we're thinking about buying one is because I LOVE the elliptical. I hate running and doing workout videos, but I could be on the elliptical for a good hour and love it. But if you have some good reason for me not buying one, I would love to hear your opinion! Thanks!

Hello Random

I am sitting at work right now in a computer lab as a lab assistant. I am in a lab that people don't usually go in to, and it's right next to the centrum arena at SUU. There is a gymnastics match tonight, and I'm sitting in here, and all of a sudden these two girls come in and close the door. I was just like... uh ok. And then one turns to the other and says, "Oh crap there's a lab assistant here! I need to warm up!" (As if I can't hear her even though I'm the only other person in the lab). The other girl turns to me and says, "She's singing the national anthem in a minute, can she warm up in here, do you mind?" I didn't mind because one I thought it would be interesting to hear her voice and if she needed to warm up she wasn't bothering anyone. Well she started singing, and sounded great, but I just laughed because this can sometimes be the most random job in the world.

uggh

You know when you have those days that just the slightest thing can set you off? I believe today is one of those days! I have been so stressed with all of this school piled up and what not and I just want to go back to being a stay at home mom! I'm having a hard time with going to school. I hope I can even make it to my masters! ahhh! We kind of have a break planned for Todd's birthday, but I'm not sure I can last til April. Thank goodness Lily is a sweetie, even if she does cry whenever we're not at home, yeah that doesn't cause ANY stress.. ha ha. I have some cute pictures of her, but I just need to find the time to upload them when I'm home. So it might not be til this weekend!

Cradle to Crib

Well it's official, Lily has gone from her cradle to her crib. It wasn't the easiest transition, but I think she's used to it now. She's been in her crib for about a week now and she sleeps in it almost better than her cradle. I guess technically it's a pack n play, but that's all that we have room for right now. What helped us decide when to move her is one night she tried to roll in her cradle and the only reason she didn't fall out is because it hit the wall. Yeah she started screaming I think it might have been kind of traumatic for her, but she can't really roll out of her bed now. She's growing up so fast! I have some new pics that I'll post up soon! She's a doll!

Here we go again!

Well, school started up again yesterday... I already want it to be over with! Don't get me wrong, I love my classes and what not, but I'm just ready to be done with school and to move on with the rest of our life. I excited that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's going to be hard to do this with Lily but I think I can make it work. Todd is helping a LOT more this semester and we'll be on a more playing field this semester than we were last semester! Wish us luck!

New Years Eve

Well... after Lily went to bed...

We started the new year hanging out with my brother and his in-laws. We played card games, the Wii and did some intense Karaoke.
This was us right after midnight. It was the latest we had stayed up in a LONG time. Can you tell we were tired? Yeah, we were exhausted. This past week has been great, on Monday, Lily and I went up to SLC and visited friends. Todd came up on Tuesday night with his sister and then we went up to Ogden to visit with friends and family. We're not all that excited to go back to school this next week, in fact I'm NERVOUS! It'll be an interesting 4 months but if I can get through it, life will be WONDERFUL!

Christmas 2008

Todd and Lily cuddling on the rocking chair... they like that
Lily LOVES these toys that hang from her car seat. I have found her talking to them often. She is so adorable and they are her new friends. They help a lot when she is mad to get into her car seat.
Lily with Grammie on Christmas Day
This is Lily on Christmas Eve, in her new PJs. She is pretty much way cute.
Me and Lily on Christmas Eve right before she went to bed.

Yeah so we didn't get any pictures of anything that we got, but Todd got a new camcorder that he's had since before Thanksgiving, but it was a Christmas present. Todd got me an ipod Touch. If you don't know what that is, it's basically like an iphone only it doesn't make calls, but I think that's really the only thing it doesn't do. It's so awesome and way too much fun to play with, in fact, Todd plays with it more than I do. hehe Lily got a new bumbo-like seat. It also turns into a exer-saucer and a booster seat. Santa treated her well. ;) It was a great day, and we just hung out at Todd's mom's house and we even got to talk to his little brother on the phone. (He's on his mission) I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!
