When in situations of stress we wonder if there is anymore to give. We can be comforted to know that God, who knows our capacity perfectly, placed us here to succeed. No one was foreordained to fail. Let us remember that we were measured before and were found equal to our tasks. When we feel overwhelmed, let us recall the assurance that God will not over-program us; he will not press upon us more than we can bear.

weekend of goodbyes

This weekend, Todd's Brother Jeremy moved to Oklahoma to be closer to his son Austin. We are sad that he moved away, but are happy that is gets to be closer to his son.
Lily LOVES Jeremy. He is always so fun and Lily loves to play with him. I think he was sad to leave Lily. So they played a lot on the last day.
Lily also got to play with her cousin Robbie. Now that they can both crawl, there was some definitely wrestling going on. Robbie still did circles around her, but not for long.
To say goodbye, we all went to dinner at Chili's. It was yummy. Lily tried her first Lemon... it was funny....

It's official...

Lily has officially started crawling. The dreaded day has arrived! It's nice that she can get around more and become more and more independent, but that also comes with more bumps, and having to keep a closer eye on her. As you can see in this picture, Lily has a big bruise and goose egg on her forehead. Poor thing... She's still kind of slow and is getting a hang of all this moving around, but she definitely has a new rebellious streak in her. Who knew?

Crazy Fun Weekend!

I've been meaning to blog all week about this last weekend, but all this fun loan stuff for the house has kept me busy! This past weekend Todd and I went up to SLC for a fun friends weekend. It was a much needed break. It started out Friday night it was the Liv International Sxinney Mist Launch. AWESOME night! I learned so much about the product and what it can do for us, I was completely shocked that one product can help with so many things, in a natural light. All the way from weight loss, stress, to fertility. I'm all pumped about the product now and I can testify that it works!
Saturday morning we were able to go visit Todd's friend Jimmy and his new baby boy Jae. He is ADORABLE! It was so fun to hold him. He's so little, it was a good reminder of where Lily has come from. I stole this picture from their blog, but I think he's so stinking adorable!

The rest of Saturday I spent with my Girlfriends from High School while Todd hung out with Jimmy and Mikensi, his wife. We started out at the cheesecake factory and then went shopping and tried on some WEIRD glasses at Claires. We finished it off at Temple Square of course on the hottest day of the year. We about died but I'm glad to report we made it! We had so much fun and I was great seeing everyone.

THis is the traditional bride-groom spot, but I like the view.

Jamie, Katelyn, and Me. It was so warm but we were enjoying our photo shoot! :)

WE HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED!

It's official, our offer was accepted, and the closing date is August 15th! I can't believe that in a month,we will have a HOUSE! That is NUTS! My dad is coming down this morning to inspect it, so hopefully nothing will go wrong in that area, but we're so excited to move in! I'm already planning what to do with the house. It's exciting for me! It's exciting to think that Lily will spend her first birthday in a HOUSE! Not an apartment! Woo hoo!

Hopefully our New Home!

This is a house out in Enoch, just north of Cedar City, that we have fallen in love with! It's three bed 2.5 bath and is on a .5 acre! It's beautiful! We never thought that a home like this could be in our price range and are so excited that it is! We're going to be putting an offer down on it on Monday! Cross your fingers and hope that it's accepted!

Our 4th of July

Lily right after she got ready for the day, she knew it was going to be fun!
The end of the day, right before the fireworks! They never saw it coming!
Our little family celebrating! We had such a fun time! We spent the first half of the day in Richfield and were able to see a lot of old friends! I miss you guys! It was fun to see all of you though! And then we traveled to Milford to spend it with Todd's family! They were a lot of fun and we laughed all throughout the day! It was a fabulous way to celebrate our freedom! Lily didn't even get scared from all the fireworks! She was actually just trying to sleep and they kept waking her up, it was cute!
