When in situations of stress we wonder if there is anymore to give. We can be comforted to know that God, who knows our capacity perfectly, placed us here to succeed. No one was foreordained to fail. Let us remember that we were measured before and were found equal to our tasks. When we feel overwhelmed, let us recall the assurance that God will not over-program us; he will not press upon us more than we can bear.

Our First Night Away

This past weekend, we spent our first night away from Lily since she was born. It was a much needed break. Don't get me wrong, I love Lily. It was definitely nice to just concentrate on us and our relationship. My parents took Lily Friday night while Todd and I traveled to SLC and went to conference. It was my first time ever going to conference, and it was so wonderful! We definitely missed Lily a lot though! As nice as it was to be away for a night, it was so fun to come home and hold her and enjoy her that much more. We were kind of slackers and didn't take any pictures, sorry! Todd has been applying for some jobs. Most of them are in SLC and I am REALLY hoping and praying that he'll get hired at one of them. One is an internship working for the church, that would be the BEST job ever! Lets just hope we won't be on welfare anytime soon! Actually that would probably the the LAST thing we do!

Working for the church would definitely be awesome. They definitely take care of their employees for sure! Good luck with the job hunt!

it would be awesome to live in SLC. I'm personally hoping that will happen, plus I know the church won't be going under anytime soon
