When in situations of stress we wonder if there is anymore to give. We can be comforted to know that God, who knows our capacity perfectly, placed us here to succeed. No one was foreordained to fail. Let us remember that we were measured before and were found equal to our tasks. When we feel overwhelmed, let us recall the assurance that God will not over-program us; he will not press upon us more than we can bear.

Christmas Party

This past weekend was my family's Christmas Party. It was SO much fun! It was so good to just hang out and visit with my family. Lily was given her first chocolate covered pretzel. Man she was a fan! hehe. She also helped Todd and I build her first snowman, but she really liked the blow-up snowman in my parent's yard. She has officially started walking and is all over the place now. But she's still herself and is a wonderful child. I really don't think I could ask for a better baby. I worry about how the next one will be though... hehe.

Looks like fun! my mom said she saw you on Sunday. I'm with you on worrying sometimes with the first child being such a good child. Who knows what the little lady will be like!
