When in situations of stress we wonder if there is anymore to give. We can be comforted to know that God, who knows our capacity perfectly, placed us here to succeed. No one was foreordained to fail. Let us remember that we were measured before and were found equal to our tasks. When we feel overwhelmed, let us recall the assurance that God will not over-program us; he will not press upon us more than we can bear.

Crazy Eater!
A few weeks ago, Lily had a wonderful dinner, and this is what came of it... He was happy, but VERY dirty and sticky! We couldn't help but take a few pics of the meal.

LIV'N SXINNEY!
So I've been really trying to live healthy and lose weight the past 6 weeks! I've lost 14 lbs, and 20 inches! I have lost five inches around my stomach alone! It makes me so excited! These pants that I'm wearing in the picture used to be tight on me, and now, well I can't wear them without a belt or else they fall off. It's so exciting! I'm LOVING how I feel! I have so much energy and just feel good all the time! I can allow myself to cheat and eat a cookie or something once and a while, but for the most part, I don't even crave sweets. I want fruit or a healthy choice! This truly is the easiest thing I have ever done!

The Best Mothers Day EVER!
I think I have the very best husband in the WORLD! Today for mother's day, I was woken up by Todd walking into the bedroom with a tray of food. He put it on my bed-side table and said, "DON'T wake up yet!" I laid there pretending to sleep then I heard him come in with Lily and then said "Happy Mother's Day!" We all had breakfast in bed today. It was fabulous! He then changed every stinky diaper today, which I was really happy about! He also made lunch for me making sure I didn't lift a finger. I definitely didn't mind for the most part. When we got home from dinner at Todd's mom's house we put Lily to bed and then Todd banished me to the bathroom so he could prepare for my big gift... I was rather curious what he was doing. He came back into the bathroom and blindfolded me. He then took me into our bedroom and made me lay down on the floor on a towel. He put a lei around my neck and I heard the sound of waves hitting a beach. Soon I was able to take my blindfold off and he took me to the "beach". We even had a fishing net! I had been talking about how I wanted to go to a beach and just relax so instead, he brought it to me! I received two dozen roses one from Todd and the other from Lily. I also go two cards from them. In Todd's was money and in Lily's was her cereal puffs. I thought it was cute! Todd also gave me a Willowtree Plaque that I can hang up on my wall. I was so happy because I LOVE the Willowtree figurines and the plaque is of a mother and father with their arms around two children. It made me happy. Thanks Todd for such a fantastic Mother's Day! I love you so much!

First Week of Summer!
Say What?! Mom and Dad are out of school!
May 7th, my mom and me went to Tuacahn and saw Brian Regan. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! He moves A LOT during his act. It was so hard to get a good pic of him just because he was BLURRY! Hehe. It was a good time! It was our mother's day gift to my mom. I hope she had fun!
This is Lily on the swing at the park near our apartment. She was being so cute. I was in the swing next to her and she apparently thought that was pretty funny. Todd had Friday off so we just kind of enjoyed ourselves with going on a walk and taking Lily to the park. She loves the swings. I took her down the big slide but she thought that was pretty scary so we decided to stay away from those for a little while. Then on saturday we took her swimming for the first time! It was so fun! I taught her how to splash the water and Todd got mad because she kept splashing Todd. Hehe. I'm a good teacher! It has been a very fun week, especially since no homework was involved!

We Did It!
Institute Graduation
SUU Graduation (We have better pictures, they're just on another camera)
We did it! This past weekend we graduated from both institute and SUU. Friday night was the institute graduation. We gave the prayers for the event, so we're kind of a big deal. Just kidding! It was exciting that we were able to do that. Saturday was the most amazing day. We were absolutely exhausted because thursday night we had gone to the midnight showing of the new X-Men movie, and we hadn't quite caught up on our sleep yet. We woke up at 6:30 and eventually made it over to the school by 8:00. At nine, we were at the big convocation of the graduation. President Thomas S. Monson was the speaker. It was amazing to sit that close to the prophet and to listen to him and his powerful words. He is such a wise man! It was cool to listen to him talking about something that you don't often hear a prophet talk about. He was very motivational and it was definitely a highlight of my life. Later at our separate graduation, the main speaker was 104 years old. Yes that's right, 104 years old. It was the best graduation speach I have ever heard! He basically stood up, said when life gets you down, just laugh. And then he asked us to all practice laughing. And then he sat down. Perfect length! ;) It's nice to be done! It's weird to think that I'll never have to do my own homework ever again. I probably will, because I plan on going to get my masters, but for now, it's nice to not worry about school!
