When in situations of stress we wonder if there is anymore to give. We can be comforted to know that God, who knows our capacity perfectly, placed us here to succeed. No one was foreordained to fail. Let us remember that we were measured before and were found equal to our tasks. When we feel overwhelmed, let us recall the assurance that God will not over-program us; he will not press upon us more than we can bear.

Our Vampire

I don't think I have told you about Lily's teeth, but when her teeth came in, her eye teeth came in first so she looked like a little vampire. This is actually a family trait in my family so I was happy it happened with her. This past week her middle teeth cut through so she doesn't look like a vampire any more, but it was fun while it lasted. If you look close in this picture you can see her teeth. She wouldn't let us take a picture of it because she likes the camera too much!
