So I love Christmas. I used to absolutely loathe this time because of all the giving people and what not. Don't worry... I was just weird. But I've been thinking about what this time of year really does me. It's amazing to me that so many people can get caught up in the giving of the year. Yes we have so many people fighting for this toy or that toy to give to their children, but truthfully, does that matter? Probably not! Anyway, just listening to what people are doing and how they are reacting to what needs to be done in this world amazes me! Now is the time to remember Jesus Christ. The one who gave all. I think that is why we are so prone to be giving all that we have at this time of year. We remember who gave everything for us! So as your running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, remember why you're giving. Take a simply moment , even if it is while you're standing in line to pay for the items, to just simply thank our Heavenly Father for giving all of us such a wonderful blessing! A savior to die for our benefit!
When in situations of stress we wonder if there is anymore to give. We can be comforted to know that God, who knows our capacity perfectly, placed us here to succeed. No one was foreordained to fail. Let us remember that we were measured before and were found equal to our tasks. When we feel overwhelmed, let us recall the assurance that God will not over-program us; he will not press upon us more than we can bear.

Forgotten Carols
Well Forgotten Carols time is coming again. I'm really excited to do it again this year. This time, Todd will be there and it will be a lot better than last year. This past week I tried out for one of the solos. It was for the song Arise and Shine Forth. It's a very powerful song. I made call backs against two of the most incredibly singers. I was terrified. I gave it my all, but dind't quite succeed. I didn't get the part but that's OK. I felt happy just to make call backs. Maybe next year... ha yeah right. Like I already stated before, I'm musically stagnant.

Guitars
For those of you who don't know, Todd plays the guitar. He plays it rather well too. I love it when I'm in the bathroom or kitchen getting ready for the day or finishing making a dinner and he's in the front room just playing around on the guitar. It's so soothing for me. It is rock hard guitar solos or stupid I hate you ballads, just simple, beautiful music coming from him strumming a few strings. He's been teaching me a little and I'm a slow learner so we'll have to see about how that goes, but it is wonderful! It's a great new addition to our home. I can't wait until he can teach our children this art of music that he has learned! I love him even that much more for playing me beautiful music!

AHHHHHHHHH
As much as I love SUU, there is one thing that I'm about to freak out about right now. I have to take two classes, and perferably this next semester, but the problem is, they overlap eachother. Yeah basically I'm about to scream! They aren't even offered at different times or anything.. STUPID! Anyway, just thought I would let you know!

Recently Developed Habit
When Todd was younger, he couldn't say his r's like a lot of little kids with they try to talk. Lately, we have been talking back and forth in a way that a little kid would just because it's funny and sounds kind of cool. It's not good though because I find myself talking like that with other people like professors or people I'm trying to help at work.. it's kind of embarrassing! So if you ever catching me talking like that, that's why!
