When in situations of stress we wonder if there is anymore to give. We can be comforted to know that God, who knows our capacity perfectly, placed us here to succeed. No one was foreordained to fail. Let us remember that we were measured before and were found equal to our tasks. When we feel overwhelmed, let us recall the assurance that God will not over-program us; he will not press upon us more than we can bear.

New Years Eve

Well... after Lily went to bed...

We started the new year hanging out with my brother and his in-laws. We played card games, the Wii and did some intense Karaoke.
This was us right after midnight. It was the latest we had stayed up in a LONG time. Can you tell we were tired? Yeah, we were exhausted. This past week has been great, on Monday, Lily and I went up to SLC and visited friends. Todd came up on Tuesday night with his sister and then we went up to Ogden to visit with friends and family. We're not all that excited to go back to school this next week, in fact I'm NERVOUS! It'll be an interesting 4 months but if I can get through it, life will be WONDERFUL!

I think that you will do great in school. You have always been good at that kind of stuff. Lily is getting so big and I haven't had the chance to come and see her yet. I will have to get to that. I hope that things are going well for you and your family.
