When in situations of stress we wonder if there is anymore to give. We can be comforted to know that God, who knows our capacity perfectly, placed us here to succeed. No one was foreordained to fail. Let us remember that we were measured before and were found equal to our tasks. When we feel overwhelmed, let us recall the assurance that God will not over-program us; he will not press upon us more than we can bear.

The Manti Pageant

On Saturday night we went to the Manti Pageant. It was so much fun! We left early because we wanted to go to the Turkey BBQ which was amazingly yummy! We got to Manti around 6ish and then just played around. It was fun because we saw A LOT of people there that we didn't even know were coming. First off, we ran into a bunch of people from our ward and had them come sit by us, then we saw Miranda and her husband Trevor. We talked to them for a minute. After that when we took our seats, we saw Jaci (Matthews) Stephens and Jessica (Matthews) Rigby. It was crazy to see so many people that I didn't even know were going. We didn't want to drive all the way home that night so we drove as far as Richfield and crashed at my parents and got up early and drove home for church. It was way fun! It was Todd's first time going to the pageant and he enjoyed it. As a side note... during the pageant when they were showing when Joseph was going to the different churches to figure out which one was right, it shows him talking to one group that was talking about how we didn't need baptism and by faith alone we can be saved... well after they said that in the pageant the bunch of protesters that were outside of the temple cheered! I laughed so hard I thought I was going to fall of my chair! It was great! The temple shortly before the pageant!
I have another picture like this, but I didn't have to stuff my shirt this time!
I like this picture with Moroni in the front and the temple in the back, Todd was a good sport for posing!
We were just so excited! Sorry the quality isn't that great... but the lighting was awful!
