When in situations of stress we wonder if there is anymore to give. We can be comforted to know that God, who knows our capacity perfectly, placed us here to succeed. No one was foreordained to fail. Let us remember that we were measured before and were found equal to our tasks. When we feel overwhelmed, let us recall the assurance that God will not over-program us; he will not press upon us more than we can bear.

Teaching about Brazil

Earlier this month, Todd and I went to Milford to talk to his sister's third grade class about Brazil. He taught them all about culture and the language and stuff. He's wearing his soccer jersey to show how cool soccer is too. It was pretty fun. We gave them some Guarana. It's a Brazilian drink. If you've never had any, you should definitely try it! Anyway, this is the first year that they haven't asked if it was beer, yes it's beer and we're giving it to a bunch of third graders... Anyway it was fun to watch him teach and he's really funny.
