When in situations of stress we wonder if there is anymore to give. We can be comforted to know that God, who knows our capacity perfectly, placed us here to succeed. No one was foreordained to fail. Let us remember that we were measured before and were found equal to our tasks. When we feel overwhelmed, let us recall the assurance that God will not over-program us; he will not press upon us more than we can bear.

Long Hair
This is how I feel lately. I have until December until I can chop my hair off, but man... I am getting sick of how long it's getting. It's now to the point where it's about 1 1/2 inches from my belt... that's long. I don't really know any styles I can do with it other than down, curly, pony tail, pony tail and braid... and that's about it. I'm not like SUPER good with hair, so I don't really know what to do with this. Does anyone have any ideas of cute hair styles that work with super long hair?

WOW! i didn't know your hair was that long! I just wanna try that once. But I don't think my hair would grow that long! :)
Why do you have to wait until December to cut your hair? You are lucky though. I couldn't get my hair that long if I wanted to. My hair gets about 6 inches (at most) past my shoulders and stops growing. You have such pretty hair though. My favorite is curly on you.
Yeah, curly does look really cute on you. So does straight. I wish I hd cute ideas..but I really don't. Mine got to a point where it was too heavy when I had it in a ponytail. It gave me a headache. I liked to wear it down, but it was hot in the summer...I like doing pigtail braids. Those are always fun! :)
I'm confused. Why can't you cut it?
Ok, first off that picture is really gross. Honestly there aren't a ton of things you can do with super long hair, but its just so nice when it's nice and long and way healthy and you're just surrounded by this warm blanket. Ok fine! I miss my hair! But I do have a couple tips that may be useful. Do you remember those headbands that were so "in" during our sophomore through senior years that are thin and everyone would wear to work out or something ,over a ponytail? When my hair got really long I started to use those as ponytail holders because where your hair is so thick like mine and gets really heavy such a big thick band will help it stay in place for all day. Also when it got way long I went to a few different stylists to see how I could get it more healthy because it was SO hard to keep healthy, and they told me to NOT wash it every day, but wash it every THREE days. I know.. it sounds gross, but hair is a lot healthier and easy to manage if it has some of those natural oils in it. But even with how much that does help, still try not to blow dry AND straighten every time, maybe do one or the other-switch it off and it will be a lot easier to do fun things with. LIKE, use curlers! Sure you don't get to snuggle with your hubby too close at night but especially when you've got those nice natural oils in there, it will make your curl set in like a charm. I'm excited for you to grow it out!
Well the reason I can't cut it, is because two years ago, I made a deal with my sister and sister-in-law. The deal was, we can't cut our hair for three years. We can trim it, but not chop it off. So this upcoming Christmas marks 3 years, and then I'm going to donate it. I usually don't wash it every day, usually every other day, and well my blow dryer broke last week, so that's out of the question. I like pig tail braids, but I've decided, I'm just not very good at it, you should teach me Janell... lol I like it curly too, it's fun, a lot more fun where it's humid and not dry like cedar, but it's still super fun! But I was just wondering if there were any good ideas of what I could do... thanks guys!
another simple hairdo is just putting the top half of it up in a ponytail, barrette, or clip, and letting the other half hang down. this is super easy and it gets your hair out of your face. hooray!
