Guitars

For those of you who don't know, Todd plays the guitar. He plays it rather well too. I love it when I'm in the bathroom or kitchen getting ready for the day or finishing making a dinner and he's in the front room just playing around on the guitar. It's so soothing for me. It is rock hard guitar solos or stupid I hate you ballads, just simple, beautiful music coming from him strumming a few strings. He's been teaching me a little and I'm a slow learner so we'll have to see about how that goes, but it is wonderful! It's a great new addition to our home. I can't wait until he can teach our children this art of music that he has learned! I love him even that much more for playing me beautiful music!

As much as I love SUU, there is one thing that I'm about to freak out about right now. I have to take two classes, and perferably this next semester, but the problem is, they overlap eachother. Yeah basically I'm about to scream! They aren't even offered at different times or anything.. STUPID! Anyway, just thought I would let you know!

Recently Developed Habit

When Todd was younger, he couldn't say his r's like a lot of little kids with they try to talk. Lately, we have been talking back and forth in a way that a little kid would just because it's funny and sounds kind of cool. It's not good though because I find myself talking like that with other people like professors or people I'm trying to help at work.. it's kind of embarrassing! So if you ever catching me talking like that, that's why!

At a loss

So I'm bored at work and I really just can't think about anything to post.. so uh ... I'm making this really stupid post!

I LOVE FALL!!!!!

So today I was walking on campus and I realized how beautiful it is here! All the trees on campus are yellow and bright red from the change of seaons. This picture kind of reminded me of it... I wish you guys could have seen it today!

New Thought

So I just finished reading this book. I would suggest it to anyone. It's rather funny. This is the time in life that you might want to read it too... if you read it, you'll understand! Anyway, in the book one of the characters gave a rather profound thought. They were talking about humility. He was talking about how important humility is. He spoke of Heavenly Father and how powerful he is. He has so much power and it is because of his Humility that he is good. If it weren't for his humility he would be dangerous. More dangerous than Satan. I found that to be very heavy. I realized how important humility really is. It is through this life that we are humbled and are taught how to use our knowledge and life for the good, not to be proud and selfish.

Old Times

So I got this picture from Brittany. I think it's a rather interesting picture. I was thinking back to when I first moved to Richfield. We were all so different! We have grown up so much! All of us! Think about this picture, Katelyn was just about to pop, Janell and I are both married to awesome guys that our YW leaders warned us about, and Kacey and Brittany were both getting ready for their 3rd year of college. It's like us old 9th warders! It's crazy to think everything that we've all gone through in the past 6 years. Every one of you girls have made such an awesome impact on my life and I thank you for never giving up on me! So has all of our other friends such as Tawnee, Miranda, Kate, Mary, and Sophie. Not to mention the silly guys we hung out with! It's great to grow up and become you're own person, but I don't think I'll ever forget about any of you guys! You all rock my socks!

The First Snowfall!

Todd and I woke up this morning to a beautiful white world today! It was way awesome! The snow is perfect snow too. I'm seeing a snowball fight/snowman later! I"m excited! It kind of reminded me that night that we played in the snow that christmas break when Tawnee came for a visit. When we walked to Andrew's house. In the perfect snowfall! Good times!

Real Apartment

This is the first view of our front room. If you notice, that couch is from my parents house.. yeah! Oh and we have a lot more pictures up now so it looks like someone lives here now!
This here is our awesome kitchen! I love it because there is so much room. Like the nice folding chairs and card table? I thought you would!

Green bathroom. It's so big.. hahah yeah right! Thank goodness there aren't any more girls in the place.

Hey yall, This is our apartment. Sweet huh?

WICKED

So basically I just found out that I'm going to be able to go see Wicked on February 16 in LA. It's not New York but it's totally worth it! Todd is coming too, it will be the BEST trip EVER!!!!!!

Last night Todd and I went to this awesome building right here. If you are wondering what it is, it's the St. George Temple. This is where we were married. It holds a lot of really awesome memories and stories for us. I just want you all to know, that I absolutely love this building and what it has to offer. If you don't know anything about this building I would STRONGLY suggest that you find out as much as you can without actually going inside of it. I think that it is absolutely beautiful. We were able to do sealings a few weeks ago. (Go to www.lds.org if you are lost at this point) Notice the middle windows. Pretty sure I was sitting right inside of the top middle window. I was actually looking outside of it at some people taking pictures of the temple. I was waiting for Todd and I started to think to myself, I can't believe that I'm here. It is amazing what power goes on in the temples. Just so everyone knows, I KNOW that Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us. He knows our names and he knows our needs. All we need to do is humble ourselves and reach our potential. We have so much to do and so much to work for, we just need to endure!

Weird Things About Being Married

Ok so I'm sure that you're all sick of me going on about being married and how happy I am. But I'm just so excited about it so I'll try to cut back after this. There have been a few things that have come to my attention about being married and how different it is from being single. Talking to a lot of my single friends really help me realize that. Lately some friends of mine that are of the male gender have been coming up to me trying to give me hugs. Since I'm married, basically that's the last thing I want to do. I know that it's probably innocent on their part but I can't do that anymore. That part of it doesn't really bother me, it's the fact that I feel very uncomfortable around guys, and I don't want ANY phsycial contact with any of them is what bothers me. I've never felt this way, but I think this is the way I should feel. Todd has even talked to a couple of guys because it gets to me so much, and he just doesn't go up and talks to people like that. It's weird, I know! Another weird thing, how I feel so inadaquate when I'm alone. I feel like I'm a missionary or something with companion envy. Seriously! The other day I went to Wal-mart to pick up some groceries. I went by myself which I didn't think was going to be that big of a deal but when i got there I kept thinking, I wish that Todd was here so I could ask him whether or not he would want this or not or what kind he would want. It was the first time I had been to Wal-mart with out him in probably 6 months. Strange, I know! I'm not complaining about marriage at all! It's just adjusting to what has happened. I am so happy and he is so awesome! He treats me GREAT! I seriously couldn't ask for anything better than my wonderul husband! I love him so much and I know that he loves me back. It's crazy but it's so worth it!

So I was thinking, and I decided to make a blog out of all of my favorite things! I couldn't find any pictures of friends or else it would be up here too.
